Job Summary
Field Service Technician based in Tampa, FL is responsible for maintaining thorough knowledge of ImageTrac scanner mechanics and electronics, providing effective technical support to customers, and arriving at sites within contracted response times. The role includes dispatch availability during and after normal hours, managing company assets, following established call flows, ensuring software knowledge (SoftTrac, Docnetics, IBML), and identifying opportunities for IBML software sales or services. Requires an Associate-level degree in electronics and/or mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience, plus ability to work remotely as applicable and undergo background checks. Primary focus is delivering high customer satisfaction through hands-on maintenance, testing, and timely service delivery, with attention to quality and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Associates level degree in electronics and/or mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of or willingness to maintain knowledge of ImageTrac scanner hardware and software (SoftTrac, Docnetics, IBML proprietary software)
- Ability to be dispatched to customer sites within contracted hours and after-hours as needed
- Must be able to meet quality and reliability standards and follow incident/activity call flow
- Must be able to pass criminal background checks for governmental customer services
