Job Summary
Perform onsite preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and IQ/OQ validations on laboratory instrumentation across the United States. Provide technical support and training to customers via onsite visits, phone, and email while scheduling travel and coordinating service documentation. Build strong customer relationships to support preventive maintenance agreement renewals and service opportunities. Requires 2+ years of field service experience supporting instrumentation or analytical equipment, plus ability to troubleshoot electronic or mechanical systems using diagnostic instruments. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively throughout the Continental United States are mandatory. Starting salary ranges from $60,000 to $65,000 with monthly bonus eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of field service experience supporting instrumentation, analytical equipment, calibration systems, or similar technical equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and maintain electronic or mechanical equipment using hand tools and diagnostic instruments
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Continental United States
Desired Qualifications
- Technical degree, electronics certification, or coursework in analog and digital circuits
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation, calibration, validation, quality control, or regulated environments
