Job Summary
Field Service Technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing high-speed cash-handling equipment at customer sites, installing hardware/software upgrades, and communicating progress to customers. Requires electro-mechanical repair skills, ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, travel within assigned territory (Chicago area), on-call rotation, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or completed professional studies in electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Certificates in related fields (mechanics, electronics, automation, data processing) preferred
- Hold a Valid Driver’s License
- Experience repairing high-speed paper handling machines such as check sorters, mail sorters, currency sorters; ATM or copier repair experience preferred
- 3-5 years of technical field service repair experience preferred (aviation, medical equipment, vending machine repair, military repair)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; capable of sitting/standing for long periods; able to kneel, bend, squat, twist
- Must be able to travel to customer sites, including overnight travel occasionally
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
