Job Summary
Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment while diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software issues in production machinery. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance, calibrate and test equipment to meet specified standards, and document service activities including repairs, parts used, and time spent. Provide technical training and support to client personnel on equipment operation while adhering to all safety protocols and company policies during field service operations. Maintain a valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently to customer sites across the Spring Lake region.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of industrial machinery
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently to customer sites
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., CompTIA A+, PMMI Mechatronics)
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and documentation
- Prior experience with robotic systems or automated manufacturing equipment
