Job Summary
Field Technician at Spectrum to install and repair services for customers, educate users on proper use, and operate in outdoor field environments. Entry-level role with on-the-job training and opportunities for career self-progression from Field Technician I to IV, with increases at progression levels and potential certifications. Requires outdoor work, use of hand tools, ability to travel to customer sites, and a valid driver’s license. Strong communication, problem-solving, time management, and reliability are important; no employment-based immigration sponsorship is needed in the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Valid Driver’s license with safe driving record within company standards
- Proficiency in using computers and software applications
- Competent in using hand tools
- Fluency in English
- Ability to travel to and from assigned customer premises and locations as necessary
- Effective communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility and reliability
- Walk over various terrains and weather conditions; lift up to 75 lbs; climb ladders; work outdoors for extended periods
