Job Summary
Senior Low Voltage Technician is hired to maintain signage, structured cabling, fiber, and network systems across the SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park campus, as part of AmpThink’s team under contract with Hollywood Park. The role starts with repairing 88 outdoor signs by replacing control systems and LED panels, then transitions to ongoing maintenance across 300 signs, the campus fiber optic network, and the installed network/LAN. Responsibilities include pulling, dressing, and terminating category and fiber cabling, installing conduits, maintaining fiber links, patching and troubleshooting network equipment, diagnosing sign LED failures, interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics, and working outdoors and at heights with safety protocols. Training is provided; Zoho Desk/Projects are used for timekeeping and updates.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on structured cabling / low voltage experience (strongly preferred). Comparable experience in fiber, electronics/display repair, or network systems is also welcome.
- Strong troubleshooting instincts and solid electronic and mechanical aptitude
- Comfort working outdoors, at heights, and on aerial lifts for full shifts
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
- Comfortable using a PC and learning software tools (Zoho)
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- A quality-first mindset and the discipline to document your work
- Ability to pass a background check and confirm eligibility to work in the United States
