Job Summary
Provide overall site leadership for material handling installations and coordinate all crews, general contractors, customers, and vendors. Lead daily planning meetings, resolve safety and schedule issues, and maintain accountability for project outcomes. Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the installation lifecycle, managing site-wide logistics including labor coordination, material flow, and equipment staging. Champion a safety-first culture by conducting audits, inspections, and ensuring all personnel complete required training. Lead and mentor field installers while performing hands-on tasks such as assembling, moving, and installing sorting and conveyor systems. Support installation verification using hand and power tools, follow proper escalation policies, and ensure compliance with engineering specifications. This 80%+ travel role requires 10-hour shifts and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of industry experience
- 3+ years of site leadership
- Ability to travel up to 80%+
- Strong knowledge of material handling systems
- Industrial safety knowledge
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Listening skill
- Questioning skill
- Experience using computer, cell phone, email, Microsoft Office and Teams
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and machine drawings
- Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
- Keen attention to detail
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to qualify for a US passport
- Ability to work minimum of 10-hour shifts
- Ability to lift, push, bend, and unload equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
