Field Service Technician

Job Summary
Field Service Technician responsible for installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of hardware (printers, cash recyclers, document finishing equipment, office equipment, servers, PCs, and data communications equipment) at customer sites across multiple industries. Travel to customer locations via company vehicle, manage preventative maintenance, coordinate with technical support, provide updates to stakeholders, manage parts inventory, and assist with training new technicians. Requires problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and strong communication; 25 lb–50 lb lifts permissible; overnight travel 5-10%. Preference for an Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years related experience and/or training
- Valid and current state Driver's License
- Associates degree preferred
- Must be able to travel overnight 5-10%
- Ability to diagnose equipment operational errors and product failures
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively under minimal supervision
- Good verbal communication skills for interaction with customers
