Job Summary
Field Service Technician to diagnose, maintain and troubleshoot Bloom Energy servers at customer sites, utilizing extensive product and industry knowledge for fuel cell system maintenance, site upkeep, safety protocols, and issue resolution. Requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, effective communication to coordinate tasks, and willingness to support 24x7 operations as needed and travel to customer sites.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical experience required
- Ability to read and interpret electrical single line diagrams and blueprints
- Experience with test and measurement equipment and electrical safety products/procedures
- Experience with 3phase systems, UPS, and electrical generation/distribution systems (beneficial)
- Experience implementing maintenance in accordance with ANSI/NETA standards
- Ability to travel and work in field environments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting/repair skills
- Able to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to lift 45-50 lbs and perform physical duties in outdoor conditions
- Comfort with on-call and shift work as needed
- Proven safety-conscious approach and ability to follow procedures
