Job Summary
Field Service Technician responsible for on-site troubleshooting and repair of Salvagnini equipment, providing customer support and training on state-of-the-art machines ranging from stand-alone to highly flexible automated systems. Duties include troubleshooting and repair, on-site modifications, documenting detailed reports, and maintaining professional appearance with strong customer feedback. Requires travel up to 75% (US and international), valid passport and driver's license, and hands-on expertise with mechanical and electrical systems, PLCs, servo motors, controllers, and PC communications; proficient in MS Office suite and mechanical drawings, with the ability to read electrical schematics and implement SOPs.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree in mechanical or electrical technology or equivalent work experience
- ability to travel up to 75% including weekends
- valid passport or ability to obtain
- valid driver's license
- strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- experience with PLCs, servo motors, controllers
- MS Office/Excel/Word skills
- excellent communication and reporting ability
- ability to lift 75 lbs
