Job Summary
Field Service Technician to provide on-site troubleshooting and repair of Salvagnini equipment, customer support and training on state-of-the-art products from stand-alone machines to highly flexible automated systems; perform on-site modifications, document reports, and maintain SOP adherence. Requires mechanical/electrical tech background, PLCs/servo motors/controllers knowledge, PC communications, and ability to travel up to 75%.
Required Qualifications
- A 2-year degree in mechanical or electrical technology or equivalent work experience in the field.
- Military experience or practical work experience in a similar field will be considered.
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in PC use as a development and communications tool; MS Office/Excel/Word skills required.
- Travel: Frequent US and occasional international travel up to 75%; valid passport and driver's license required; ability to obtain rental vehicles.
