Job Summary
On-site troubleshooting and repair of Salvagnini equipment; provide customer support and training on state-of-the-art products from stand-alone machines to highly flexible automated systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repair, customer training on the equipment, on-site modifications to equipment, and submitting clear, detailed reports. Role requires mechanical/electrical expertise (conveyors, gears, hydraulic/pneumatic valves, servo motors, PLCs, Ethernet/serial communications), strong math skills, and the ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings. Travel up to 75% (occasional weekends) with requirements for a valid passport and driver's license; must maintain professional appearance and customer-facing demeanor; adherence to SOPs and documentation of work performed. Education: a 2-year degree in mechanical or electrical technology or equivalent experience; Military or similar field experience considered; strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- A 2-year degree in mechanical or electrical technology or equivalent work experience in the field
- Military experience or practical work experience in a similar field will be considered
- Valid driver's license
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport
- Ability to travel frequently (up to 75%), including some weekends
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Fluent in MS Office/Excel/Word skills
