Job Summary
Field Service Technician role responsible for on-site troubleshooting and repair of Salvagnini equipment, providing customer support and training on state-of-the-art products from stand-alone machines to highly flexible automated systems. duties include troubleshooting and repair, customer training on equipment, on-site modifications, and timely, detailed reporting of work performed. Requires a 2-year degree in mechanical or electrical technology or equivalent field experience; strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, PLCs, Servo Motors and Controllers, PC communications, and proficient use of MS Office. Frequent travel (up to 75%), including some weekends; travel benefits include per diem, mileage reimbursement, company credit card for travel expenses, and required possession of a valid passport and driver's license. Required Qualifications
- A 2-year degree in mechanical or electrical technology or equivalent work experience in the field
- Military experience or practical work experience in a similar field will be considered
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Fluent in MS Office/Excel/Word
- Ability to travel frequently (up to 75%, including some weekends) and possess/obtain a valid passport and driver's license
