Job Summary
Perform service, diagnostic, repair, and preventative maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment, including inspecting and testing systems with tools like Megger, PdMA MCE, and multimeters. Install, remove, and align AC and DC motors, replace bearings and seals, and clean equipment using bead or ice blasting. Troubleshoot electrical components such as low voltage VFDs and motor starters while adhering to all safety standards and operative policies. Ensure a professional customer-facing environment and complete assigned work in compliance with operating procedures. Available for flexible hours, overtime, weekends, and on-call rotation with local and overnight travel. Requires a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

- Must complete a pre-employment drug screen successfully

- Must ensure a professional environment utilizing customer-facing skills
- Must complete assigned work in compliance with operative policies and procedures

- Must be able to perform math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, fractions, and percentages
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must have 2+ years of AC/DC motor experience
- Must have strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Must have Level 1 Vibration Analysis experience
- Must have PdMA testing experience
- Must have strong E/I capabilities working with electrical components, such as but not limited to, low voltage VFDs and motor starters
- Must be able to inspect and test various electro-mechanical equipment
- Must be able to perform electrical tests using portable electronic equipment including, but not limited to: Megger, PdMA MCE, Multimeter, and DLRO
- Must be able to install/remove AC and DC electric motors, laser align equipment, read precision measuring tools (such as micrometers), replace sleeve and anti-friction bearings, set seals, air gap, and torque critical components to proper torque specs
- Must be able to clean electro-mechanical equipment utilizing bead blasting, ice blasting, and solvent cleaning
Desired Qualifications
- PdMA testing experience preferred
- Electrical troubleshooting skills are preferred
- Level 1 Vibration Analysis preferred
