Job Summary
Lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of industrial rotating equipment including AC/DC motors, gearboxes, and pumps. Perform laser alignments, replace bearings and torque-critical components, and execute detailed mechanical inspections using precision measuring tools. Conduct technical testing with portable electronic equipment to verify system reliability and clean electro-mechanical surfaces using bead or ice blasting. Adhere to strict safety standards while working independently or within a high-performing team to hit mutual project goals. Requires 2+ years of hands-on experience with rotating industrial equipment, valid driver's license, and willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends for on-call field service.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps, or similar rotating industrial equipment
- Proven ability to read and interpret precision measuring instruments and technical blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical failures in a fast-paced, continuous improvement environment
- Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate technical findings professionally
- Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable record
- Willing to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends as needed for on-call field service
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be available for weekend shifts
