Job Summary
Inspect, maintain, repair, and certify Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and other breathing air equipment at fire departments, industrial facilities, and customer locations throughout Central and Northern New York. Travel to various job sites to perform inspections and technical repairs on compressed air systems and breathing air equipment while representing the company professionally. Work independently to build strong customer relationships and solve mechanical problems for firefighters and emergency responders. Comprehensive training and certification are provided through an in-depth onboarding program for those without prior SCBA experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to travel to customer locations throughout Central and Northern New York
- Must be able to travel to fire departments, industrial facilities, and other customer locations
- Must be able to inspect Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and other breathing air equipment
- Must be able to maintain Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and other breathing air equipment
- Must be able to repair Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and other breathing air equipment
- Must be able to certify Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and other breathing air equipment
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to build strong customer relationships
- Must be able to represent the company professionally at each job site
- Experience as a Firefighter
- Experience as a Field Service Technician
- Experience working on compressed air systems

- Experience working on similar mechanical equipment
