Job Summary
Pick up and load the company vehicle each morning, then install and repair accessibility products including wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and ceiling lifts. Explain the project to customers and answer their questions while entering work order and inventory data into the system. Work independently or as part of a two-person team to complete jobs ranging from a few hours to several days. Receive paid manufacturer training and hands-on learning to develop skills. Occasional Saturday overtime is available for this full-time role in Richmond, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Basic computer skills for work orders and inventory
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record check
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle to job sites
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs. and work overhead for short periods
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors year-round
- Able to climb ladders, crouch, and occasionally work in confined spaces and at heights
