Job Summary
Field Service Technician needed to travel to customer sites to install, fix, repair and maintain CNC machine tool equipment and controls; troubleshoot using online manuals and vendor resources; document status of issues and repairs; perform preventative maintenance; participate in training with Haas equipment and obtain factory certification within the first year; role requires mobility and frequent travel from a home base with a company-provided vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- CNC Technician experience or repair background
- Mechanical and electrical repair ability
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
- Software experience and laptop usage required
- Strong technical, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to meet physical requirements (lift 40-50 lbs)
- Frequent travel and ability to work from home dispatches
- Experience with Haas equipment is a plus
- Safety compliance and PPE usage
- Customer-focused service and documentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in mechanical/electrical repair or engineering
- CNC repair background is a plus
