Job Summary
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on gas- and diesel-powered rental equipment in both shop and field settings; install, service, and repair HVAC, lighting, and other equipment; travel locally to customer sites across oilfield, construction, and industrial environments; read electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical drawings; maintain detailed service records via mobile tools; provide professional customer training on proper equipment use and care; uphold high safety standards on-site and in the field.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a field technician in oilfield, construction, or heavy industrial settings
- Your own set of tools
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair gas, diesel, HVAC, hydraulic, and lighting systems
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands-on experience across a diverse rental fleet
- Comfortable working in harsh weather and physically demanding environments
- Ability to read technical documentation, schematics, and apply diagnostic tools
- Excellent communication and customer service skills-you can clearly explain technical issues and build trust with customers
