Job Summary
Perform basic diagnostic and repairs on agricultural, turf, and Ag Management Solutions equipment, including disassembly, assembly, and component repair. Execute all service tasks assigned by the Service Manager, prepare repair orders, and report additional work required for safe customer operation. Participate in directed training programs, account for time and materials, and maintain a clean, orderly work area. Report issues with shop tools, equipment, or vehicles that are unsafe for use while adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- 3+ year(s) of experience performing service repairs
- Ability to write diagnosis and work completed on routine reports (repair orders)
- Proficient knowledge of engines, transmissions, electrical systems and/or hydraulic systems
- Ability to use personal computer and various types of diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
- Ability to speak effectively one-on-one with customers
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Valid driver's license
- Must possess set of tools
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
- Squatting, bending, lifting, reaching, twisting, standing, and sitting
- Working with PC, smart devices, and close detailed work
- Occasional – Short and long distances
- Ability to grasp and manipulate standard tools and office equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to operate a forklift
