Field Service Technician

Job Summary
Regionally traveling field service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain customer equipment (motors, burners, and control systems). Troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and complete repairs to ensure smooth operation. Travel up to 3 hours in a company-provided truck with occasional support in nearby territories (about 10% travel) and rare overnight stays with overtime pay. Required Qualifications
- Experience working with large motors, fans, and related components
- Understanding of airflow, temperature control, exhaust systems, and fan systems
- Solid grasp of electrical theory, including current flow
- Experience with burners, heat transfer, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) a plus
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication to explain technical challenges to both internal teams and customers
- Ability to work independently but also know when to seek support
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain professional communication with customers
- Travel regionally (up to 3 hours) in a company-provided truck to customer sites for equipment maintenance and repairs
- Occasionally support colleagues in nearby territories (around 10% travel) or for larger projects (rare overnight stays with overtime pay)
