Job Summary
Diagnose, identify, and repair heavy equipment and machinery problems by performing component removal, disassembly, rebuild, and installation. Conduct all service tasks as assigned by the Service Manager, following safety rules and regulations while maintaining a clean, orderly work area. Prepare detailed job reports and records, documenting unusual time requirements and recommending additional work to the Service Manager. Promote dealership growth through suggestive selling of parts and service while maintaining a professional image with customers. Accountable for all time, materials, and tools used in assigned jobs. Must hold valid DOT and/or Medical Card Credentials, with a CDL B preferred. Travel 50%-100% of the time in an outdoor environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
Required Qualifications
- Must have 2–4-years of minimum Heavy Equipment Mechanical Experience
- Must hold valid DOT and/or Medical Card Credentials
- Must be willing and able to travel 50%-100% of the time
- Monday–Friday, 7:00AM- 4:00 PM (shift is as needed, with overtime, possible weekends as needed)
- Bending, reaching, twisting, pulling, kneeling and lifting are continuous essential functions of the job
- Will lift from 1-75 pounds from floor to five feet level and team lift heavier items
- Normal physical agility is a must
- Requires the use of both hands
Desired Qualifications
- Heavy Equipment Dealer certifications perferred
- Minimum CDL B preferred
