Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair power generation and electrical systems at customer sites, including engines, generators, switchgear, and related equipment. Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to perform maintenance, testing, and system adjustments. Install, repair, and support critical power systems while completing service documentation and inspection reports. Manage your service calls and work independently in the field, responding to occasional after-hours or emergency service needs.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with power generation, electrical systems, or engine systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
- Experience troubleshooting generators, engines, or power equipment
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical schematics
- Proven ability to work independently in the field
- Strong customer service mindset
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Your own tools
- A background check
- Drug testing
Desired Qualifications
- CAT experience
- CDL
- Technical degree
