Job Summary
Field Service Technician responsible for installing and servicing customer equipment and maintaining network assets. Perform new connects, reconnects, upgrades/downgrades, and service changes; install/relocate outlets; set up converters and cable modems; install interior/exterior wiring; train customers on equipment use; monitor and troubleshoot system performance from consumer device to tap; identify signal degradation causes; ensure system security by terminating unused ports; follow FCC and NESC standards; provide superior customer service; maintain inventory and vehicle/tools; require a clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug test; in-house training offered for candidates with basic technical aptitude. Position located in Circleville, OH (and surrounding area).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of broadband/telecommunications experience preferred
- valid driver’s license and good driving record
- pass pre-employment background check and drug test
- able to read street maps
- basic computer skills
- customer-focused
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, on-call
