Job Summary
The Field Service Technician position involves performing maintenance and repairs on customer equipment at various job sites, ensuring safety, analyzing equipment malfunctions, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Candidates are expected to have an Associates Degree in Diesel Technology or a related field and at least 6 years of experience in heavy equipment repair. Responsibilities include traveling to customer sites, documenting services, adhering to manufacturer guidelines, and maintaining a clean and functional company vehicle. A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a CDL certification are required.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Diesel Technology or closely related field preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of directly related experience in heavy equipment repair
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to become CDL certified with DOT Medical Card
