Job Summary
Join Peterson as a Field Service Technician to perform service activities at customer sites for sales and rental fleet equipment. Responsibilities include maintaining safety, diagnosing equipment malfunctions, performing repairs on engines and hydraulic components, writing service reports, and maintaining a strong customer service relationship. The role requires an Associates Degree in Diesel Technology (or related field), a minimum of 6 years experience in heavy equipment repair, and the ability to obtain CDL certification.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Diesel Technology or closely related field preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of directly related experience in heavy equipment repair
- Maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to become CDL certified with DOT Medical Card
Desired Qualifications
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to use service software
