Job Summary
Operate and maintain state-of-the-art multi-robotic welding systems, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automation equipment at customer sites. Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies using robotic vision systems while managing inventory of parts and completed assemblies. Conduct data analysis to facilitate engineering-driven issue resolution and ensure precise part fit-up. Integrate autonomous welding cells into manufacturing processes, service pneumatic systems, and replace electrical and mechanical components. Collaborate with engineering resources to optimize equipment efficiency and interface with customers. Requires extensive travel (75%+ of the time).
Required Qualifications
- Technical training, Trade School certification, Associate degree in Engineering Tech, or equivalent industry experience
- Hands-on experience in the design, assembly, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems, preferably in manufacturing equipment
- Willingness to travel extensively (75%+ of the time) to customer sites
