Job Summary
Operate and maintain state-of-the-art multi-robotic welding systems, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automation equipment both locally and at customer sites. Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies using robotic vision systems while managing inventory of parts and completed assemblies. Record and analyze data to facilitate engineering-driven issue resolution, ensuring precise part fit-up and cell performance. Integrate autonomous welding cells into customer manufacturing processes and interface with customers to optimize equipment efficiency. Conduct extensive travel to customer sites for service and maintenance of pneumatic systems, welding equipment, robotics, and electrical automation devices.
Required Qualifications
- Technical training, Trade School certification, Associate degree in Engineering Tech, or equivalent industry experience
- Hands-on experience in the design, assembly, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems, preferably in manufacturing equipment
- Willingness to travel extensively (75%+ of the time) to customer sites
