Job Summary
Field Service Technician needed to service Palfinger truck-mounted equipment in the Orlando area. Responsibilities include field repairs and troubleshooting of articulating cranes, forklifts, conveyors, trucks and trailers; perform quarterly preventive maintenance and annual DOT inspections; provide emergency/unscheduled repairs; communicate mechanical issues to job site/fleet managers; maintain service documentation (estimates, work orders, parts, labor, inventory); ensure compliance with state and federal safety regulations; keep vehicle and work areas clean and organized. Requires mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, welding skills; ability to work outdoors in all weather; 3 years of relevant experience; English proficiency; CDL or ability to obtain CDL within 60 days; own tools (PALFINGER tools provided). Compensation: $29-35/hr, plus benefits. This is a remote position based in Orlando, FL, reporting to the Regional Field Service Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of mechanical experience or training with emphasis in articulating cranes and forklifts
- Strong proficiency in mechanical, hydraulics, electrical, troubleshooting diagnostics and welding
- Must be physically able to work in all weather conditions. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, squat, crouch, reach and lift 75lbs+ for extended periods.
- Must speak, read and write English.
- Must have a valid CDL driver’s license or willing to obtain one within 60 days of employment.
