Job Summary
Install, configure, and troubleshoot motor systems on-site or in office while performing regular maintenance and upgrades. Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person to ensure products run efficiently. Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to identify and resolve issues, and create technical documentation and service manuals. This role requires extensive travel, including international trips, and involves machine assemblies in the field. The Field Service Technician supports Imperial Electric Elevator, a Nidec Company, in delivering custom AC and DC motor systems for the elevator and escalator industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical, electrical or mechanical field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Extensive travel (including international travel)
- Doing machine assemblies in the field
