Job Summary

Perform or assist with assigned vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service centers or customer locations. Identify and explain the Rivian product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories while utilizing technical resources to follow repair procedures efficiently. Conduct road tests to ensure repair quality and manage parts operations including ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory. Identify areas for improvement, provide feedback to leadership, and support service campaigns. Ensure all work and technical notes are properly documented. Communicate professionally with customers, families, third-party affiliates, and suppliers. Stay current with technical skills and complete required training. This role supports Rivian vehicle repairs in Montgomeryville, PA, with a Monday through Friday schedule including rotational Saturdays, and may involve remote or plant-based travel.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or other recognized high school equivalency credential
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record, with no driving-related suspensions or revocations within a 3-5 year period
  • Must be available for a 40-hour work week, which may include weekends, holidays, and shifts during early morning, evening, or overnight hours based on business needs
  • Proficient with laptops or computers in Windows or Mac environments
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., sitting, standing, walking, and frequent use of hands for grasping tools and data entry
  • Physical exertion may be required to perform occupational tasks (sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.)
  • Ability to read and speak fluent English
  • Ability to see, read and interpret documents such as governmental regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions or schematics

Desired Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or other recognized high school equivalency credential preferred
  • Ability to drive a non-commercial truck and trailer is preferred
  • Hands-on work experience in an automotive shop
  • A background in electric vehicle (EV) or hybrid repair
  • Experience in start-up environments
  • Experience with parts departments, billing, and work order management systems
