Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial and utility-scale solar PV facilities, including testing DC and AC systems, interpreting schematics, and maintaining equipment schedules. Uphold strict safety standards by identifying hazards, complying with OSHA and NFPA codes, and wearing required PPE while working outdoors for 8-10 hours daily. Manage service reports, inventory, and company property, and provide training to other technicians as needed. Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with electrical systems and components
- Proficiency in using power tools for repair tasks
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Ability to take direction and complete tasks with minimal oversight
- Valid Driver's License
- Working knowledge and experience operating under OSHA 1910, NFPA 70E, and 70B
- OSHA 10 General Industry certificate
- Must have the ability to travel
- Must have the ability to work on-call during off-shift hours and weekends
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
- Must have the ability to sit, stoop, kneel, bend, stand, or walk for 8-10 hours a day
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
