Job Summary
Field Service Technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing high-speed cash-handling equipment at customer sites; manage customer service and care, diagnose and repair system issues, install hardware/software upgrades and respond to Engineering Change Notices that affect system upgrades, and maintain communication with customers about progress. The role requires electro-mechanical repair capability, ability to interpret electrical schematics and diagrams, experience with AC/DC power distribution and digital/analog circuitry, and willingness to travel within assigned territory. The position includes a company van, weekend/holiday on-call rotation, and a comprehensive benefits package. Must live within a reasonable commute from the assigned territory and be able to lift up to 50 pounds, sit/stand for long periods, and travel as needed. Remote work is not indicated for this position.
Required Qualifications
- Education Level: Currently enrolled in or completed professional studies in electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Certificates in related fields preferred (mechanics, electronics, automation, data processing)
- Must have Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Working knowledge of PCs, Office, email, navigation across network sites
- Ability to read electrical schematics, logic diagrams, mechanical drawings
- Experience with AC/DC power distribution and digital/analog circuitry
- Experience repairing high-speed paper handling machines such as check sorters, mail sorters, currency sorters; ATM or copier repair experience preferred
- 3-5 years of technical field service repair experience preferred
- Hold a Valid Driver’s License
