Job Summary
Full-time traveling field service technician performing repairs and maintenance on shooting-range equipment across facilities; responsibilities include repairing electric motors, circuit boards, pneumatic valves, control systems, and heavy bullet-trap components; must travel Mon–Fri (and sometimes Saturday), live within 1 hour of a major airport, and be able to pass background clearance checks for access to secure federal/military installations; requires passport; strong customer service and interpersonal skills; basic networking and hardware knowledge; experience with electricity (high voltage & 3-phase), mechanics, and electronics; able to lift up to 100 pounds and work in narrow spaces or on ladders; valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass background clearance checks for access to secure federal and military installations
- Must be able to secure a passport
- Must live within 1 hour of a major airport
- Must have a basic understanding of networking principles and hardware
- Experience with electricity including high voltage and 3-phase
- Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and repair
- Experience with electronics concepts and components
- Very strong skills in customer service, relationship building, and interpersonal communication
- Computer skills including word processing, basic networking, and communication port configuration
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy loads up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work in narrow spaces and on ladders
- Valid driver's license
- Full-time traveling role
- Location-specific proximity to St. Louis MO, Kansas City MO, or Nashville TN
