Job Summary
AmeriWater seeks a Field Service Technician for service and installation of water treatment equipment in the Midwest. Requires high school diploma, 2 years experience in ultrapure water industry, and valid driver’s license. Remote role with significant travel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years of experience working in ultrapure or industrial water treatment industry.
- Hands-on experience with components that make up a water system such as pretreatment (water softeners, carbon filters) reverse osmosis, distribution pumps and deionization.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and acceptable automobile insurance coverage.
- Reliable transportation to customer locations.
Desired Qualifications
- Industry certifications (WQA, AAMI) preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with ERP systems.
Additional Requirements
- Local or national travel up to 80-90% of the time, depending on territory and customer needs.
