Job Summary
Field Service Technician to travel within the surrounding area providing preventative and/or responsive maintenance on handwashing systems. Responsibilities include reviewing design specifications, traveling to client locations for diagnostics and preventative routines, conducting testing to ensure product performance, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, identifying and correcting malfunctions, troubleshooting equipment, assisting with root-cause analysis, using hand tools and machines, and maintaining logs and records. Candidate should be comfortable reading blueprints/schematics, have basic plumbing/mechanical/electrical aptitude, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team; travel up to 80% with a Monday-Thursday schedule and a Friday work-from-home day for administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in machine maintenance (preferred)
- familiar with basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical operations
- ability to travel up to 80% of the time
- proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- read and understand blueprints and schematics
- proficient in English reading/writing and basic mathematics
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 pounds
