Job Summary
Servicing and repairing electric, diesel, gas, and lithium-ion forklifts while diagnosing faults and completing repairs to OEM specifications. Prepare job cards detailing parts, labour, and service notes, and support apprentices with training and development. Attend after-hours breakdowns on a rotating roster. Based in Cannington, this full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of $45 to $50 plus vehicle and overtime. The team provides a fully equipped service vehicle, tools, PPE, and uniforms. Regular hours run Monday to Friday from 7:45am to 4:15pm with occasional overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified mechanic or technician
- 2 + years experience in a similar role (mechanical, field-based)
- Confident working independently and in the field
- Safety-conscious
- Great communicator
- Able to handle pressure
- Think on your feet
