Job Summary
Field Service Technician role responsible for troubleshooting electro-mechanical problems, performing installations, and conducting unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance on customer equipment, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Key duties include analyzing problems, performing repairs and maintenance, maintaining a clean van and tools, managing work orders and documentation, adhering to safety guidelines (HAZMAT, Lock-out Tag-out), and coordinating with dispatch while providing professional customer service. Requires strong reading of schematics, excellent communication, and ability to work with various equipment and vendors; local travel to sites in Tulsa, OK.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1-3 years mechanical and electrical experience or equivalent in college/vocational education
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to read schematics and manuals
- Excellent people skills and verbal communication
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and service/training manuals
- Ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Ability to safely operate personal hand tools
- Knowledge of safety practices and hazardous materials handling (HAZMAT)
- Experience with or ability to learn company-specific equipment and vendors (Gasboy Fleet, Verifone, Fuel Master, Gilbarco Passport, Gilbarco Dispenser, Veeder Root)
- Ability to work Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with potential evenings/weekends as needed
- Ability to travel locally
