Job Summary
Field Service Technician responsible for onsite and remote service and support to Maxcess customers; duties include installation, repair, troubleshooting, training, ROI calculations, quotes, scheduling, and collaboration with sales, engineering, and manufacturing; requires travel up to 80% and compliance with safety and environmental practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED, Technical Diploma, or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ years experience in industrial, mechanical, electromechancial, converting or paper making required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills and efficient management of time and resources
- Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office, Epicor, Salesforce, & all travel platforms
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings understanding tolerancing and specifications
- Good understanding of machining/shop mathematics
- Ability to use precision measurement tools, micometer, calipers, digital protractors, scales
- Travel globally
- Self-managed and capable of completing tasks in a timely manner
- Must be willing to travel at least 80% of the time
