Job Summary
Field Service Technician responsible for installation, start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of power distribution equipment at customer sites. Must interpret electrical drawings and BOMs, document technical information, and write field reports while collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams. Travel to customer sites is required; individual will work independently or as part of a team, using electrical test equipment and mechanical skills to install, adjust, and repair electro-mechanical components. Emphasis on safety, punctuality, and adherence to company policies; must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and hold a valid driver’s license. Provides support to service sales efforts and contributes to creating technical documentation when required.
Required Qualifications
- 2-Yr Technical Degree or equivalent experience
- Electrical/mechanical experience (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to travel, including overnight stays
- Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, power studies, and manuals
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company or rented vehicle
- Compliance with safety policies
