Field Service Technician

Job Summary
Field Service Technician will travel to customer sites to support installation, start-up and commissioning of power distribution equipment, troubleshoot and repair, interpret electrical drawings, document field findings, and collaborate with engineering/manufacturing to address quality issues. The role requires reading technical drawings and service manuals, collecting and organizing technical information, performing electrical/mechanical installations and repairs, and supporting service sales by interfacing with engineering/manufacturing to develop solutions. Strong attention to detail, safety-mindedness, and ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 2-Yr Technical Degree and minimum of 2 years of electrical/mechanical experience
- Ability to travel, including overnight stays when required.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, power studies and other technical documents including equipment operating and repair manuals.
- Computer program skills must include Microsoft suite of programs
- Must have a valid driver�s license.
- Must be able to drive a company and/or rented vehicle and be insured.
- Must comply with all company administrative and safety policies.
