Job Summary
Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of mechanical and electrical components for printing and industrial machinery. Perform troubleshooting, programming, and documentation while providing remote support and maintaining up-to-date OEM training. This role requires day shift work Monday through Friday with ample overtime and occasional on-call rotation. Candidates must be based near an international airport and possess extensive travel experience. Preferred qualifications include experience with flexo presses, folding equipment, AC/DC wiring, and SPS programming.
Required Qualifications
- Entry-level Industrial Technician
- Near an International Airport
- Extensive travel to customer locations
- On-site installation and support of mechanical and electrical components and systems
- On-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of machinery
- Reporting issues and completing documentation
- Ability to conduct installation, diagnostics, troubleshooting, programming, repairs and provide recommendations
- Maintain up-to-date training while providing remote support
- Excellent customer service skills and communication
- Exceptional problem solving, troubleshooting, diagnosis and documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous printing, corrugated, prepress, postpress, flexo presses, folding and other printing/boxing equipment
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, and/or any kind of mechanical maintenance
- Experience with electrical systems is a definite asset; AC & DC as well as three-phase wiring
- Knowledge of SPS Programming, automation technology and drive technologies
