Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems on manufacturing equipment while performing preventative maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance. Install, commission, and calibrate new systems at customer sites, providing on-site technical support and training on operation and maintenance procedures. Document service activities with detailed reports on repairs, parts used, and time spent, then collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve recurring issues. Adhere to all safety protocols while working in various industrial environments. This role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years in industrial machinery maintenance, strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, and proficiency with diagnostic tools like multimeters and PLCs. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, mechatronics, industrial maintenance) or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery or automation equipment
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read schematics and blueprints
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, PLCs)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a field environment
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
