Job Summary
Perform maintenance, repair, and commissioning of workshop equipment, primarily AC filling stations, at customer sites. Instruct clients on product usage, answer operational questions, and provide on-the-job training. Offer and sell service contracts, parts, upgrade kits, and consumables during visits. Keep products fault-free to ensure expected uptime while advising customers on new developments. Travel daily within the BENELUX region. This role supports WAECO's premium automotive brand, a global leader in A/C service and maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Technical background or equivalent experience in automotive technology, car mechanic, or refrigeration technology (or equivalent)
- Mastery of local language (Dutch or French)
- Basic English
- Previous experience in field service, technical support, or maintenance and repair roles
- Hands-on experience with workshop equipment or similar technical systems
- Strong technical understanding of workshop equipment and related systems
- Familiarity with standard software (MS Office, Outlook, Teams)
- Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Customer-oriented and solution-focused mindset
- Flexible and able to work independently as a self-starter
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic Dutch (if French is the primary language)
- Knowledge of French (if Dutch is the primary language)
