Provide on-site technical support and customer service; install, repair, and maintain equipment at customer locations; diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and performance issues; perform field testing to ensure proper operation; create detailed service reports and recommendations; collaborate with sales, production, and engineering teams; build strong, professional relationships with customers. Strong mechanical/technical skills, welding capability, ability to read blueprints/schematics, and willingness to travel 60–75% are essential for delivering high-quality field service in an industrial setting.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of manufacturing or technical experience
- Ability to travel 60–75% (multi-day trips, short notice)
- Read blueprints and schematics
- Experience with preventative maintenance practices
- Knowledge of overhead cranes, forklifts, and hand tools
- Welding experience (MIG/TIG, stainless preferred)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Lift up to 50 lbs and work in active industrial environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
