Job Summary
Field Service Technician to install and commission Kardex Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems in Penang, Malaysia. Responsibilities include delivering customer service per policy, providing basic customer training, accurate visit reporting, responding to service requests, and achieving high first-time fix rates. Requires hands-on troubleshooting, data extraction for fault analysis, adherence to quality and health & safety standards, and in-country travel. Qualifications include a Diploma/technical equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, at least 7 years of experience (5+ in field service), fluency in English, and a valid driver’s licence. Role is based in Malaysia with travel within the country; candidate must be a Malaysian citizen. Skills emphasize electrical and IT networking, problem solving, written and verbal communication, and customer-oriented service mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related Technical Studies
- Min 7 years working experience with last 5 year in field service
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Possess Driver's licence
- Malaysia citizenship (role restricted to Malaysia citizen)
