Job Summary
Field Service Technician to be the face of GLORY, diagnosing and repairing high-speed cash-handling equipment at customer sites within the assigned territory. Responsibilities include customer satisfaction, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, installing hardware/software upgrades, keeping customers informed of progress, and performing safety and environmental training. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds, ability to travel to customer sites, valid driver’s license, and readiness to work weekends/on-call rotations. Required Qualifications
- Education Level: Currently enrolled in or completed professional studies in electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Certificates in related fields preferred (mechanics, electronics, automation, data processing)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Working knowledge of personal computers—Microsoft Office, navigation across networks, email
- Logical troubleshooting skills; ability to isolate problems at PCB or component level
- Ability to read electric schematics, logic diagrams, mechanical drawings
- AC/DC power distribution and digital/analog circuitry
- Experience repairing high-speed currency handling equipment (check sorters, mail sorters, currency sorters); ATM or copier repair experience preferred
- 3-5 years of technical field service repair experience preferred (aviation, medical equipment, vending, military repair)
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Live within reasonable commute of assigned territory
- Not IT/help-desk oriented
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; sit/stand for long periods; kneel, bend, squat, twist as required
- Willingness to work weekends/holidays on rotation; on-call rotation (~every 3-5 weeks); potential travel (air/overnight)
