Job Summary
Drive company truck to designated work sites daily to carry out reclamation and recovery services for refrigerant and other specialty gases as needed. Provide exceptional service and customer support to all clients while identifying opportunities for service, gas buy-back, and refrigerant spot buy sales to meet or exceed territory targets. Submit daily work orders and weekly expense reports promptly, operate an electric pallet jack, and maintain your assigned vehicle according to the manual. Work safely in various weather conditions, adhering to all safety standards and DOT drug testing requirements. This full-time role in Kansas City requires a high school diploma, 1-3 years of mechanical experience, and a valid driver's license with a clean record.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Technical knowledge and the ability to adhere to all safety procedures
- Computer skills, including the ability to type and utilize current technology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- State-issued driver's license
- At least 21 years old
- Clean driving record
- Non-CDL medical card or valid Class C CDL with a HazMat Endorsement
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
- Ability to regularly stand, sit, walk, use hands for various tasks, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and communicate effectively
- Ability to exert over 100 pounds of force (possibly up to 350 pounds), and/or frequently exert over 75 pounds of force, and/or constantly exert over 50 pounds of force to move or lift objects
- Flexibility in working hours
- Overtime availability
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of related industry or mechanical experience
- EPA Universal Certification
- Ability to obtain EPA Universal Certification within 14 days of employment
