Job Summary
Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment while diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and software issues in production machinery. Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration to ensure optimal performance, then document service activities including repairs, parts used, and time spent. Provide technical support and training to clients on equipment operation and maintenance, adhering to safety protocols and collaborating with engineering and production teams to resolve complex technical problems. This role requires an Associate's degree in electronics or mechatronics, three years of field service experience, and proficiency with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in field service, maintenance, or troubleshooting of industrial machinery
- Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
- Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Certified in specific equipment or machinery relevant to the manufacturing sector (e.g., robotics, specialized CNC)
