Job Summary
Install new or modified equipment at customer facilities to ensure full functionality according to specifications. Review performance reports and documentation from customers and field representatives to inspect malfunctioning products, then analyze findings to determine problem sources and recommend repairs or replacements. Coordinate resolution with engineering and customer service personnel while providing on-site technical assistance for troubleshooting. Maintain records of performance reports and develop service handbooks based on field investigations and engineering changes. Provide training on safe equipment operations to team members and customers. Up to 95% travel required, including after hours and weekends. Must be bilingual in Japanese and English.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in Japanese and English
- Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application
- Associate's Degree
- One to two years related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to travel 60% of the time
- Requires some after hours and weekend work
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds

- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
